Project Description
The Department of Health has commissioned the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) to conduct an Intergenerational Health and Mental Health Study (IHMHS), a new study, which will include a nutrition component. This will involve the conduct of the National Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey and the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nutrition and Physical Activity Survey. The nutrition surveys require a 24-hour dietary recall instrument. Intake24 will be used due to its ability to be run offline, reduced post-field coding and its relatively simple user interface. The ABS requires the provision of specialist research services (technical development and support) from Monash University to support the deployment and use of the Intake24 platform for the purpose of the nutrition surveys. The services shall include but are not limited to: (1) Customisation of Intake24 to support ABS requirements; (2) Updated technical documentation for Intake24; (3) Technical advice to support ABS solution design and configuration of Intake24; (5) Updated Intake24 production code base in Git; (6) Ongoing assistance in resolving Intake24 error messages; (7) Management of escalation of Intake24 technical issues with Newcastle University as required; (8) Increased support of Intake24 during the lead up to and during ABS critical survey enumeration periods.
