TreeLines- Kulin Nations

Project: Research

Project Details

Project Description

TreeLines is an installation of glass sculptural forms set in the shadows of significant eucalyptus trees chosen by Traditional Custodians. Light will emit from the glass via solar-powered LED lighting in order to locate Country, place and Indigenous Ways of Knowing across the Kulin Nations of Victoria. These locations will be sites for gathering and meeting for all visitors to Victoria. This work is a collaboration between Brian Martin and Daniel von Sturmer that uses glass forms created in unison with Wathaurong Glass and Arts.
The project is part-funded by a Creative Victoria grant.
