Project Description

Trauma-informed practice is an established approach to address the high prevalence of trauma and prevent further trauma in the community. Research shows that tertiary students are at high risk of trauma exposure, however there is limited evidence, awareness, and integration of trauma-informed practice in higher education settings. The objective of this project and collaboration between Monash and Warwick University is to design and deliver trauma-informed resources and a tailored training package for tertiary educators at both universities. This collaboration will foster a new partnership between Monash and Warwick and respond to calls for greater trauma-informed practice in tertiary settings in Australia and the UK.
