The workplace provides an ideal opportunity to improve commuter safety not only for employees but flow on effects can extend to the wider community.
AIP Foundation, in partnership with TWG, will implement a Road Safety pilot program to be delivered to garment and footwear factories, reaching more than 8,000 workers, drivers and factory management, with the view to extending the impact of the pilot beyond target factories and support broader curriculum improvements. This program is an important step towards addressing the safety of garment factory workers as they commute to and from work. Further, there is an opportunity for this program to extend the reach and impact of the program
beyond targeted factories and to support road safety in the broader community.
