To provide full modelling support including building tools for the short-term and long-term forecast to Sri Lanka; and ii) modelling and policy advices and capacity-building for Nepal

Provide technical assistance for national responses to COVID-19 through building country-specific models to guide the development of response strategy and plans, through generating forecasts of the key epidemiological and operational indicators with different scenarios and policy options (e.g. introduction of variants of concern, public health and social measures (PHSM), and vaccination) for key countries in the WHO South-East Asia Region requesting such support (this APW focuses on Sri Lanka). This APW will also cover technical support for other countries requesting support to build local capacities for modelling to inform COVID-19 response strategy and plans for Nepal.
