The project aims to define new micro-analytical vectors which will include identification of mineralogical and geochemical parameters allowing
us to vector toward economically and viable part of IOCG ore systems. The
findings of the research have the potential to help identify the most prospective area for IOCG deposits exploration in Australia thus assist Australian companies exploring for IOCG mineralisation.The results will also provide to the Australian scientific community a better understanding of the IOCG ore system and will contribute to improved ore deposit models.
