The project focuses on the Yiddish poetry of Abraham Sutskever (1913-2010), widely considered the greatest of the Yiddish poets. Specifically it will produce a musical album based on his early work (Valdiks and Ekstazn), and (if we get a little bit more money) a bilingual illustrated edition of selected poems accompanied by a scholarly introduction.
