    Project Description

    Many causes of premature death and helath inequalities are related to social, environmental and economic factors. This study looks at the effectiveness of using health benefits and minimise health risks. It will review HIAs completed in Australia and New Zealand conducted between 2005 and 2009. It will be the first study to look at the effectiveness of HIA in Australia and will be the first internationally to comprehensively examine the factors associated with increased or diminished effectiveness.
