Project Details

Project Description

Aim of this project is to develop an innovative and cutting-edge research program by preparing an affordable and efficient device -so called yoctowells on magnetic nanoparticles, at the same time, offer new perspectives in supramolecular chemistry by applying systems in fundamental research such as catalysis, drug/gene delivery and photodynamic therapy, separation and as a catalytic container for water splitting. The ultimate goal will be to use the yoctowells as mimics of biological systems and their processes and to apply the knowledge gained in forming a new generation of novel biosensors and energy transduction systems. This research will be relevant to technological advances in the areas of biotechnology and nanotechnology.
