Termite Economies Phase 2 - major solo exhibition Mexico and international group exhibition Germany

I will produce a major new body of work for the research project Termite Economies (Phase Two). This work will form my second major solo show at LABOR gallery in Mexico City, November 2019. Aspects of the work will then be exhibited at the Art Basel Miami Beach art fair, December 2019. The production of new ambitious 3D printed sculptures will be designed digitally in Melbourne and fabricated in Michigan, USA, to travel by land to Mexico City. A new project specific publication with international distribution will also accompany this project. I am also negotiating with ZKM Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe, Germany, for the work’s inclusion in the major international exhibition ‘Critical Zones’, curated by internationally renowned philosopher and sociologist Bruno Latour.
