Project Description
Aim:
to inform the targeting of the Care Finder Program across the Murray PHN region through the provision of aggregate data, specifically demographic and epidemiological data related to older persons.
Methodology:
We will source, analyse, and report the most recent, publicly available demographic and epidemiological data on older persons residing in the Murray PHN region (or equivalent) as well as statewide comparator regions. These data will be sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, the Public Health Information Development Unit, the Victorian State Government, and the Victorian Agency for Health Information. Numbers/frequencies and rates per unit population will be reported. Aggregate data will be presented in both tables and figures, with accompanying notes.
