Aim: To create a comprehensive body of evidence that supports the TAC to understand the influence of ageing with lifelong transport accident injuries on health and well-being.
Objectives:
1. To understand the current evidence on age related degenerative conditions, contemporary best practice service models and interventions that support the early identification, management and safe ageing of people with acquired injuries.
2. To obtain knowledge on the current state of the Australian aged care system, critical stakeholders, enablers and barriers to access and utilisation, emerging trends, and insights on strategic thinking about the future.
3. To obtain in-depth knowledge on Victorian aged care service models, referral systems and processes, specialist service providers, capability requirements, education and resource materials, and outcome measures in operation.
