The objectives of this assignment are to analyse coronial data to summarise the contributions of a set of heavy vehicle driver behaviours to road fatalities in Victoria, including:
• exceeding the speed limit
• driving while fatigued
• driving an overloaded vehicle
• driving a vehicle that has been poorly maintained or has roadworthiness issues
• driving while likely to have been impaired by drugs and/or alcohol.
