Project Details
Project Description
Access to single crystal X-ray diffraction facilities is essential to wide range of research programs in chemistry,
and in recent years there has been a huge increase in demand for this crystal structure determinations. To meet
this demand a new single crystal X-ray diffractometer to be located at LaTrobe University, an upgrade of the
existing equipment at Monash University, and replacement of an ageing machine at The University of
Melbourne is requested. The resulting facilities will enhance research programs in areas ranging from organic
and inorganic synthesis, materials chemistry, polymer chemistry, biological chemistry and radiopharmaceutical
chemistry.
