Project Details
Project Description
Our aim is to develop a new class of separation media suitable for sample enrichment and the fast, high-resolution analysis of a wide range of chemical and biological compounds. These innovative separation materials will be based on the unique attributes of new types of spatially organised stimuli-responsive polymers. The outcome will be an expanded tool-box of versatile separation materials with tunable separation selectivities, suitable for use in many sectors of the chemical and life sciences. Because of the versatile nature of the experimental approach, it is anticipated that this project will lead to a platform technology of broad impact across multiple aspects of the separation sciences from analysis to preparative applications.
