The aims of the proposed study are:

• Scope the existing literature on AOPNP workforce in the context of MATOD service provision nationally and internationally;
• Identify and describe the enablers and barriers for AODNP workforce in MATOD service provision in regional/rural Victoria;
• Scope and profile AODNP workforce, including demographics, professional training/education, and MATOD permits; and
• Identify and describe the facilitators and barriers to workforce training and education.
