Project Description
The present study draws on rare long-term prospective data from one of Australia’s longest running population-based studies of socioemotional development, which has self-report data on school belonging in adolescence and longitudinal data on mental health from at three waves in young adulthood. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which school belonging (school bonding) in late secondary school predicts mental health outcomes related to anxiety, depression and stress in young adulthood (19-28 years).
