Project Details
Project Description
The project will employ a multi-faceted approach to address the research problem of converting CO2 into valuable chemicals. Initially, we will conduct comprehensive literature reviews to understand the existing methodologies and identify gaps in knowledge. Subsequently, we will engage in experimental investigations to explore the thermodynamics and kinetics of the conversion process. This will involve setting up and operating a three-phase heterogeneous catalytic reactor system in laboratory conditions. Data on reaction rates, product yields, and operating parameters will be collected and analysed using statistical methods and computational modelling techniques. Additionally, we will design and simulate the process flowsheet to optimise reactor performance and assess techno-economic feasibility. Collaborative efforts among interdisciplinary team members will ensure robust data interpretation and informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
