Project Description
Roost site selection in three small Australian native passerine species: The roosting behavioural ecology of the White-browed Scrub-wren (Sericornis frontalis), the Eastern Yellow Robin (Eopsaltria australis) and the Superb Fairy-wren (Malurus cyaneus).
The overall aim of this project is to investigate the nocturnal roosting behavioural ecology of three species of small Australian native passerines; the White-browed Scrub-wren (Sericornis frontalis), the Eastern Yellow Robin (Eopsaltria australis) and the Superb Fairy-wren (Malurus cyaneus). Specifically, the project aims to investigate the characteristics of roost sites chosen by these species and how they may differ across habitat types.
