Project Description
RiskLab at Data61 is the Australian node of the global RiskLab network. RiskLab at Data61 has established five research themes, with seven academic staff from Monash University to contribute to a total of 18 PhD research projects. Four industry members have also joined the RiskLab as adjunct members. The five research themes of the RiskLab are:
• Optimal decisions under uncertainty;
• Cyber security;
• Exotic options modelling and pricing;
• Large data analytics; and
• Superannuation and actuarial study (including insurance).
Four academic staff from the Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics will contribute to the RiskLab projects by co-supervising students and participating in regular seminars/workshops and interacting with industry.
