Project Details

Project Description

Hickey et al (2020) developed and evaluated a mindfulness and compassion program (MAC-P) for youth with psychotic experiences. The current project will modify a Mindfulness and Compassion program (MAC-P for short) originally designed to be delivered face to face to support youth with psychotic experiences. The aim is to repurpose the MAC-P program, working with youth consumers, to co-design a youth friendly online group intervention for a range of mental health problems. This novel intervention could eventually contribute to increasing access to mental healthcare for youth in rural and regional Australia.
