Project Details

Project Description

Rising energy prices and low energy productivity are threatening Australia’s competitiveness and jobs, while rapid uptake of renewable technologies will soon lead to reliability issues. RACE for 2030 CRC aims to restore Australia’s status as a low cost energy nation by combining research on renewable energy and storage, smart energy management, improved energy productivity, integration of electric vehicles into the grid, deep stakeholder engagement and education and training in new technology.

RACE for 2030 CRC will catalyse collaborative innovation to develop and demonstrate energy technologies and business models which can substantially improve energy productivity across businesses, homes and energy supply networks, embed changes engagement, education and training; and support development of Australian energy technology businesses.
