Re-design of hand hygiene systems and procedures

Undertake an experience design investigation to define the current procedures and behaviours of all participants in the value chain of hand hygiene practice in the hospital domain, patients, nurses, cleaning staff and clinicians. In addition to behavioural and procedural legacy issues the designers will investigate technologies, materials and systems including software apps, proximity sensors and gesture control systems that can contribute to changed outcomes that will reduce bacterial transfer from clinician to patients.
The findings will develop Intellectual Property that may result in new products or systems that will provide Enware with a long term commercial advantage that can be applied across global markets to solve a problem that has significant impact on healthcare budgets and human circumstances.
