Project Description

This project, led by Drs van Rijn and Painter, was awarded a grant as part of the Leading the Change project from ZonMW, the national funding organisation in the Netherlands.
Funding amount awarded was € 582,972 ($ 920952).
Funding was awarded to Universitair Medisch Centrum Utrecht (University Medical Centre)
The study aims evaluate the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of the treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus according to the 2013 WHO criteria for gestational diabetes mellitus in comparison to the 1999 WHO criteria. The project aims to include 2,520 patient in a period of 3 years.
