The use of novel approaches developed by Monash IT data scientists to evaluate large datasets of patients with cardiac arrest, will lead to better ways of predicting patient outcomes. Additionally, these tools will allow the identification of patterns in physiologic variables that are associated with better survival. Such findings may then lead to the development of new therapeutic targets to improve outcomes.
