Project Description
By examining the multiple layers of work that education systems aim to align in the interests of improved classroom teaching and learning, we will generate data on how the Australian English and Mathematics Curricula impact on policy development and practices, and identify supports needed by teachers and educators to improve their understandings of, and practical responses to, the implementation of the AC. Drawing on findings from such an examination, we will develop, conduct and evaluate a series of focused, strategic interventions (bounded 'design-based experiments') at multiple levels, leading to the development and evaluation of exemplars of successful interventions.
