Project Description
This project is for the development and implementation of the Paramedic Practitioner Program, a $20 million initiative by the Andrews Labor Government in partnership with Ambulance Victoria and Monash University. The program aims to train at least the first Paramedic Practitioners by 2026, improving healthcare accessibility and sustainability. The program is a multi-organizational effort, involving the Victorian Department of Health, Ambulance Victoria, and Safer Care Victoria, alongside Monash University that covers recruitment, education and introduction of a new model of healthcare delivery.
