Orica - analysis of diesel oil samples

This testing will explore the properties of a selection of five diesel oil samples provided by Orica in order to establish the basis for diesel quality that results in successful or failing formulation. The testing will take the form of surface and interfacial tension measurement, using pendant drop and maximum bubble pressure tensiometry. Each sample will be tested at air-oil and oil-water interfaces with and without a typically used (and supplied) emulsifier present. It is predicted that the testing will take - in total - two weeks to perform and analyse to a sufficient standard.
