Project Description
The primary aim of the project outlined in this proposal is to utilise the METS modelling techniques to develop an optimal road safety infrastructure investment mix to yield the highest practical reductions in fatal and serious injuries and compensation costs for Victoria over the next 9-10 years. This project aims to critically review the planned implementation of the Victorian SSRIP program to
estimate the potential benefits primarily over the next 10 years, supplemented by approximate estimates a further 10 years beyond.
