NSW Future Directions

Project: Research

Project Description

Future Directions is a major reform to the social housing system in NSW underpinned by three strategic priorities:
• More social housing
• More opportunities, support and incentives to avoid and/or leave social housing
• A better social housing experience.
NSW Family and Community Services (FACS) has contracted with a consortium headed by the Melbourne Institute of Applied Economic and Social Research to evaluate whether the strategy has met its objectives and to establish wich programs were effective, for whom, and at what cost.
