Project Details
Project Description
This research project will develop three new crystal-optics techniques for quantitative X-ray phase-contrast imaging. These techniques will reveal the internal structure of low-absorption materials, where traditional x-ray radiography methods often struggle to provide sufficient contrast. The quantitative mapping of the complex amplitude of x-ray radiation will have a wide range of possible applications, from medical or biological imaging through to materials science imaging.
