    Project Description

NEAMI is a service provider that helps people with mental illness to live in the community. They use a collaborative recovery model (CRM) to "support people to live independently and live a meaningful life". However, the consumer's identity has always been a difficult issue to implement as part of the CRM for both worker and consumer. NEAMI are looking for a design intervention to assist in these conversations. NEAMI have proposed that an identity tool could be designed to assist workers in making ‘identity’ a more integrated part of the CRM. It is unclear exactly what form the identity tool would take, but it may include publications, video and online/UX outcomes to facilitate the process.
