Project Description
This project analyses the effectiveness and impact of the Victorian Climate Change Act (2017), as an example of substantive climate law at a sub-national jurisdictional level. It contributes to a broader analysis undertaken by ClientEarth (UK-based public interest environmental lawyers) which explores whether climate laws are effective in driving emissions reductions and supporting positive political engagement on climate change.
