Project Details

Project Description

This research aims to identify the distinctive social, material and developmental resources available in three local communities in Melbourne, and the ways young people draw on these resources in overcoming health related challenges and maintaining positive development. Exploring local communities and the resources they support will involve analysis of young people's social and family networks, their 'place relationships' and their use of information technologies. In exploring health and place, this study aims to furnish new grounds for innovative, community based, youth development initiatives.
