A two-phase research project to answer whether design thinking is an effective pedagogical tool. In Phase 1 four integrative reviews will be undertaken as per the supplied research questions. In Phase 2 design thinking will be related across the Victorian Curriculum. The approach will highlight, using current research literature, the impact that design thinking has in primary and secondary school settings on teaching practice, student STEM outcomes and the optimal pedagogical approaches.
