    Project Description

    This proposal is to obtain the first AP15000 Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometer in Australia. It will be made avaliable to all Australian researchers as an open access national facility for analytical measurement wit a new order of magnitude in sensitivity. The first unit in Australia of a new generation of ultra-sensitiveanalytical mass spectrometers, its exquisite sensitivity for small molecules allows for the first time highly accurate and simultaneous measurement of multiple steroid, vitamins and related molecules in tiny smaples of biological fluids.
