Lifecycle Costs (LCC) Tool for Small Scale WSC Solution Stage 2

This is a stage 2 project following the development of a proof-of-concept tool in stage 1.
During stage 2, the prototype tool will be further developed with the addition of more data and information, an end-use interface and relevant supporting materials.
The objectives of stage 2 are:
1. To develop consistent processes for collecting and collating data to populate the LCC database
2. To develop an end-user test Beta LCC tool, and
3. To explore and provide recommendation on issues such as ongoing tool governance, sustainable funding models, tool ownership, independent audits, QA/QC, a possible LCC tool community of practice and other related matters.
The deliverables of the stage 2 project include:
1. High level LCC plans
2. LCC Beta Tool
3. LCC User Guide
4. Stage 2 Summary Report
5. LCC Tool prospectus
With greater clarity of expected LCC, this will ensure that decentralised systems are considered equally in planning and pioneering stages, and when implemented are properly resourced over the lifetime of the asset, ensuring they deliver the expected benefits.
