Project Description
Many individuals use social media rather than traditional treatments for their eating disorder (ED) related concerns. Unfortunately, social media about EDs is often inaccurate or intentionally pro-ED. Our project seeks to identify those at risk of EDs by the social media content they post, and offer proven treatment solutions for them. As our treatments are digitally based (i.e., on apps and web platforms), they may offer a scalable and cost-effective alternative to current treatment options.
