Independent Schools Victoria (ISV) has partnered with Monash University, Faculty of Education in a research to explore the experiences of principals of Independent schools who have led and are leading their schools through the Covid-19 pandemic.
The aim of this research is to:
- investigate the experience of the principals with the second lockdown
- improve and identify key elements of agile leadership of the principals
- identify the support and resources that would be needed
- explore how this experience might change the educational agenda post-pandemic
Monash Education will support ISV in obtaining research ethics clearance; consulting on the research design, research methodology, data collection and data analysis processes; and disseminating research findings via mutually-agreed research and professional publications.
