Project Details
Project Description
This project will research and develop intelligent computer systems and formal models for managing consumer care in dynamic and complex environments. It will investigate a unified approach that can be applied within centralised organisations (telecommunications) and in distributed systems involving heterogeneous and autonomous agents (health care). The research will include both theoretical analysis and experimentation in a simulated environment. It will lead to new models, architectures and processes for collaborative systems of care, new data mining and analysis techniques for assessing the efficacy of care, advances in knowledge representation, and a better understanding of the role of organisational structure in collaborative care.
