Project Description

The Department is seeking to progress implementation of the National Strategy for
Clinical Quality Registries and Virtual Registries 2020 – 2030 (the Strategy) through
two projects identified in the Streamlining Approval for Clinical Quality Registries:
Final Report which was commissioned by the Department in 2021. These projects will help realise the Strategy’s vision where national clinical quality outcomes data are integrated into Australia’s health care information system and systematically drive patient-centred improvements in the quality and value of health care to achieve better patient outcomes across the national health care system.
