Project Description
Transplantation is life-saving for patients with end-stage organ disease, but requires ongoing immunosuppression to prevent rejection. Consequently, transplant recipients suffer enormously from infections. Optimizing immunosuppression to prevent rejection but minimize infections is of key importance but measurement is difficult, so dosing of immunosuppressive medications remains empirical with limited individualization.
