Project Details

Project Description

The INSPIRE study directly contributes to TROPHI's goals by providing essential data on the prevalence and impact of reproductive coercion (RC) within general practice settings in the outer Eastern Melbourne region. Findings from the study will offer critical insights into the demographic, socio-economic, and health correlates of RC. By focusing on an area with limited existing data, particularly in the Australian context, the study supports TROPHI's objective of generating contemporary practice-based evidence. The study will include resources for GPs and practice nurses to assist them in supporting victim-survivors of RC, thereby fulfilling TROPHI's mission to translate research outcomes into meaningful improvements in primary health care.
