Project Details
Project Description
Women from refugee and migrant backgrounds confront a number of barriers in navigating
perinatal systems and supports. This may compromise their wellbeing at a time when supportive
and nurturing care can create significant positive change. This project aims to understand the
needs of women of refugee and migrant backgrounds in perinatal mental health and wellbeing
education and resources and to map and assess existing perinatal mental health digital programs.
This will enable identification of gaps in health promotion and enable co-design of future
resources.
