Project Description

PLEASE NOTE: This application has already been submitted and successfully awarded. I neglected to create a PURE ID for the application prior to submitting because I was not aware I needed to do so, since the application was being administered and submitted by the PCI at University of Sydney. I only learned after the fact that, in order to process the award, I needed to create a PURE ID for the application.

This research project will investigate the scope and outcomes of technologically-enabled data collection practices in Australia’s private and social rental sectors. Current data practices, regulations, and compliance will be examined to recommend appropriate data gathering, security and use, to improve protections for Australian renters.
