High Content Cell Signaling Discovery and Screening Facility

Project: Research

Project Details

Project Description

The aim of this initiative is to establish a Functional Genomics Cell Signaling Discovery and High Content Screening Facility based at Monash University comprising a core high content scanner, an RNAi genome-wide library and associated robotics for handling large numbers of samples in small volumes, reproducibly. This demand for this facility lies in the innovation that it will deliver to research groups nationally in a number of disciplines including biochemistry and molecular biology, microbiology, immunity, stem cell biology, pharmacology, drug discovery and biotechnology. The outcomes will be the discovery of novel proteins with new functions in biologically important processes.
