Project Details

Project Description

The project aims to deepen understanding of the ways in which governments are responding to the growth in commercial cross-border higher education. It will analyse the experiences of ten importing and exporting countries in relation to the major impacts of the rapid growth of internationalisation of education markets-access to international education, effects on skilled migration, and impacts of cross-border provision on the development of local systems. This comparative project will analyse the underlying motivations and effects of the range of regulatory measures used to respond to and shape cross-border markets in higher education.
