Future home demand: Anticipating energy and everyday life trends across three Victorian networks

The project will provide essential knowledge for three energy distributors about the future expectations and anticipated practices of their customers, and the associated impacts for energy demand and forecasting. In-depth ethnographic research will inform a survey to provide insights into emerging trends relating to energy demand at home. The project will produce a short documentary video, transferable survey instrument and public report. The insights will be used by the business to inform the development of a new forecasting model for residential energy demand.
