Project Details
Project Description
To sustain and nurture future generations of healthcare workers innovative models of workplace learning that will enhance transitions and retention of practitioners need to be identified. This project will synthesise an innovative conceptual model of workplace learning in health care environments. In doing so it will identify the core factors within the health care workforce and environment that influence how an individual engages in both their learning and clinical practice. The model will challenge existing teaching approaches and will enable healthcare organisations, providers of health care education, workforce supervisors and managers to more effectively engage and support newly qualified and developing health professionals.
