Project Description

ENJOY’S Long term goal - design a sustained mode of service delivery by the council/organisations to be used by senior residents.
Specific aims
1. Exercise park being used regularly by residents – adherence and physical activity participation
2. Increase number of people using it (other age group)
3. The exercise park to be used by several community groups (e.g, U3A)
4. Senior volunteers to engage in delivery/support
5. Knowledge transfer to participating organisations (staff training and support)
6. Provide estimated cost of council investment (infrastructure, service delivery, etc) – to assist in future research design for cost-benefit evaluation.
7. Strengthen the relationship with the participating partners (councils/organisations) for future partnership trial
